HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -

A man has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter after investigators say he was driving drunk with a 5-year-old boy in the car when he hit an unsuspecting driver.

Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened on FM 1960 around 1:25 a.m. Sunday.

According to investigators, Jamie Flores' F-150 crossed the center line and hit another car head on.

The driver of that car was died at the scene. Deputies said another car hit the victim's vehicle and did not stop.

The boy in the F-150 was not hurt.

Flores was arrested after failing a field sobriety test. He has been charged with intoxicated manslaughter, along with DWI with a child under 15.

Flores is set to appear in court on Monday.

The name of the victim was not immediately been released.
