Driver arrested after high-speed chase

ALDINE, Texas – Police arrested a man they said led officers on a high-speed chase Friday.

Around 11 p.m., an officer attempted to pull over the driver of a pickup truck who was speeding near Aldine Westfield and Hopper.  According to reports, the driver refused to stop and sped off.

Officers said during the chase, the suspect drove over 90 miles per hour down residential streets, until he finally stopped in the driveway of his home. 

Police took him into custody and charged him with felony evading.  The suspect's name was not immediately released.
