According to the Stafford Fire Department, crews found flames in a downstairs room that traveled up the back wall and up to the attic.

Fire officials said it took a while to put out the fire because of the heat. Two firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion and released at the scene.

Flames burned through the roof. The sun room suffered extensive damage, according to fire officials.

Crews from Sugar Land and Missouri City also assisted in the fire. Up to 50 firefighters in total responded.

No one was home at the time.
