HOUSTON – Several burglaries have been reported in the Galleria area recently.
According to Houston police, there have been 46 burglary calls in the 77057 ZIP code in the past month.
One apartment complex in the area has circulated a letter to alert residents about the break-ins.
Rodrigo Sansuste said he moved to Tanglewood Court in the area of San Felipe and Fountain View about a month ago.
"It's a nice place," he said. "Quiet. You don't see that many people. Everybody's nice."
Monday night, he got home to find the letter from management alerting him to several car break-ins in the parking lot and an apartment burglary over the weekend. Houston police said officers have been called out there three times over the past few days.
Police have not said if they believe there's a connection between the recent burglaries in the area.
