It took just a few seconds. A woman left her dog in her car, only to return and find her pup gone. Now she's hoping surveillance video will help bring him home.

Clara Sosa's face usually lights up when she talks about her beloved 5-year-old Yorkie named Bruno.

"He likes to play. He loves attention. He's my family member. He's with me everywhere I go," Sosa said.

Bruno was with her this past Sunday, right before he disappeared from her car. She had it parked outside the Sparkle Washateria on Hammerly.

"I know that the door had been open because I did find a sock on the ground," Sosa said.

Sosa called police and got a hold of surveillance video from the laundromat. She says a woman could be seen driving a Chevy Tahoe and that a man got out and stole Bruno. She now has the license plate thanks to the network of security cameras.

"He's very friendly, but he is not the type to venture out on his own so I knew he had to be taken," Sosa said.

Sosa says police told her it could be another week before her case is assigned to an investigator.
