FBI releases surveillance footage of attempted armored car robbery

HOUSTON – The FBI released video Friday of a gunman who shot at an armored truck guard on Nov. 6.

The video shows a man jumping out of a stolen white Jeep and firing at a Loomis armored truck in the 5200 block of Shepherd Drive.

The guard was struck, but was able to get inside the truck and close the door. The gunman got away without any money.

Another camera angle showed the man jumping into a blue or purple four-door sedan with a getaway driver who was waiting for him on Hohldale Street.

A reward of $15,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
