HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A man has been charged with first-degree felony aggravated robbery in a 2015 robbery of a hearing-impaired man.
Harris County Constable Mark Herman's office said two unknown black men knocked on the victim's door in the 2800 block of Hirschfield Road, pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet.

Deputies said the victim gave up his wallet, but as the robbers were running from the home, one of them dropped a beanie-style hat.
Herman's office said the beanie was processed for DNA evidence at the Harris County Institute of Forensic Science and it matched a recent hit in the Combined DNA Index System Database.
The DNA match led to charges against Deonte Andrus, 19.
Deputies said Andrus is incarcerated in the Texas Department of Corrections on an unrelated criminal offense.
