MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A man has been accused of being drunk behind the wheel with two small children in the car.
Montgomery County Precinct 4 deputy constables said they pulled William Tardy over on U.S. 59 near Texas 242 at 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 3 because he was driving erratically.

He failed a field sobriety test, investigators said.
Detectives said Tardy's 3-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son were in the car.
Tardy has been charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, two counts of endangering a child and criminal negligence.
