Apparently the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office deputies are a dog's best friend.
Two patrol deputies in Katy spotted a pair of pups wandering a neighborhood in the Grand Lakes subdivision. Deputies David Connolly and Tamica Humphrey managed to lure the dogs over using tortillas.
The deputies went door to door, but that didn't work. So they took them to the nearby pet medical center.
The nice folks there scanned the dogs' microchips and found the owner.
Armed with an address the deputies drove the dogs home for a reunion with their relieved owner.
