A group of Christmas thieves are in custody after police say they ransacked a home taking everything from Christmas stockings to presents and even the family's bed.
Deputies say they were called to the home on Cliffwood and Woodway in New Caney early Monday morning. When investigators arrived they found four people packing their cars with unwrapped presents, electronics, and sofa cushions.
Police say they unwrapped the gifts under the tree to find exactly what they wanted.
Four people were arrested in the Christmas heist.
One of them is facing a more serious charge after police say he dropped a sizable amount of meth in front of deputies as he was pulling out his ID.
