NEW CANEY, Texas – Deputies said they received a report from school officials of a man that drove up to a boy while he was on his way to school on Tuesday.
Montgomery County deputies said the 6-year-old boy was walking to a bus stop near the front of the Garden Gate Apartments.
The man drove up to the boy in the New Caney area and asked him if he wanted a ride home. Officials said the boy ignored the man and continued to the bus stop.
Authorities said the man has a mustache and beard and wore a white shirt and blue pants. The man was driving a white truck and was pulling a landscape trailer, said deputies.
