Runaway girl found safe, deputies say

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies said a runaway15-year-old girl has been found safe.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office Missing Persons Unit said Kamile Adams (pictured below), was reported to have run away around Nov. 23, and was believed to be with a black woman (pictured above), who hads attempted to return stolen merchandise to Home Depot stores at two different locations.

Deputies said the woman first attempted to return stolen merchandise to a store located in the 900 block of the North loop South. The second attempt took place at the Home Depot at Interstate 45 North and Cypresswood.

Investigators said they believed the woman used Adams to help her return the merchandise purchased on stolen credit cards. Adams and the woman were spotted leaving both stores in a Ford F-150 truck.

No other details about Adams being located have been released.
