FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -

The Fort Bend County Sheriffs' Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man involved in a violent robbery and theft.

Deputies said the most recent incident occurred in the 6600 block of Fry Road at around 10 p.m. on May 10.

As the man was leaving a store, deputies said he pulled out a knife and threatened an employee who had approached him.

He stole nearly $200 in merchandise, before leaving with a woman in a late model, possibly 2011-2013 gray Ford F-150 four-door truck.

Investigators say the same man is also behind a theft at another grocery store located in 25000 block of FM 1093 in the Katy area on May 1.

The robber is described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall with a husky build.

He was last seen wearing an orange safety vest and a dark blue shirt. He has black hair which is closely cropped.
