Deputies seek man accused of failing to register as sex offender

HOUSTON – Deputies in two southeast Texas counties are looking for a man who failed to register as a sex offender, authorities said.

According to a release from Crime Stoppers of Houston, Brian Dunlap, 41, was convicted of indecency with a child in New Mexico on Oct. 9, 1996, after a crime that involved a 16-year-old girl.

Crime Stoppers said that Dunlap’s last known address was in the 5500 block of Kodiac Street in Spring, but he has not registered as a sex offender in Harris County.

Warrants have been issued for Dunlap’s arrest in both Harris and Brazoria counties on charges of failing to register as a sex offender, the release said.

Dunlap was described as white, 6 feet tall and 240 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has tattoos on his neck, both forearms, both legs, both upper arms and his left hand and wrist.

According to the release, Dunlap is also a member of the Aryan Circle.
