Deputies seek help finding man wanted for robbing several bank customers

HOUSTON – Law enforcement is asking for the public's help finding a man who followed and robbed several bank customers in Conroe.

Deputies said Henry Wilson has connections to a local gang responsible for countless thefts, burglaries and robberies in the Houston area is on the run.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, suspects Wilson and Patrick English followed a man in September 2015 from a Spring area bank to local Chick-fil-A parking lot. When the victim went into the restaurant to order food, deputies said the men burglarized his vehicle and stole the $13,000 that he had withdrawn from the bank earlier.

Bank jugging is a trending criminal technique, in which criminals prowl bank parking lots looking for victims with the intention to follow and then steal from them.

"You are most vulnerable in a situation like this when you are either getting in to or out of your vehicle," Assistant District Attorney of Montgomery County Rob Freyer said. "This is not a one man operation, which is why we have him charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, they're looking at 2 to 10 in prison"

English is currently in custody in Harris County and will be transferred to Montgomery County to stand trial, deputies said.

Deputies said Wilson and English are members of criminal organization called Market Street Money Gang. The group members have been responsible for countless pharmacy burglaries, bank jugging thefts and robberies, sliding thefts, commercial safe-cracking burglaries, aggravated robberies, narcotics trafficking, identity theft and other illegal activity.

English has been arrested in connection to numerous bank juggling cases, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. English was out on bond for three separate Harris County felony charges and another in Fort Bend County when deputies arrested him in October 2015.

Both men are being charged in Montgomery County for the third degree offense of engaging in organized criminal activity.
