HOUSTON -

One person has been shot to death outside a motel in northwest Harris County, according to authorities.

We saw deputies bag a man's hands and then pull him aside for questioning. Deputies are still on scene collecting evidence.

"I just heard three shot -- dat, dat, dat," said Isabella Martinez.

Isabella Martinez was taking care of customers at a donut shop when the sound of bullets coming from motel across the street caused her to cry out.

"After 30 minutes I get out and then I see everything, all the cops and everything," she said.

Officers arrived to the Northgate Inn and Suites off Bammel Village Drive near Kuykendahl to find a man shot to death. His body was found on the second floor.

This is the fourth shooting near Kuykendahl this week. On Wednesday night a suspect was shot twice after deputies say he tried to rob a man at the Augusta apartments near Kuykendahl and Rankin.

Tuesday night off FM 1960 and Kuykendahl at a taqueria a man was shot by several suspects while trying to protect his mother and his family restaurant.

On Monday night SWAT officers were called out to the Family Dollar on Kuykendahl near Ella after armed suspects stormed in, shouting at the employees and demanding cash. According to investigators they robbed one customer.

Martinez says that customer just so happens to be her ex-husband.

"My ex-husband, he gets out of the Family Dollar and somebody tried to rob him and hit him in the nose. I'm so scared," said Martinez.

She is scared that the blood shed and reckless violence will continue.

Deputies also say they are questioning a woman in this investigation.
