HOUSTON – A man shot his ex-girlfriend in the face Tuesday night while she was riding in her new boyfriend’s car, deputies said.
The shooting was reported about 11:30 p.m. near Tomball and Cypress Creek parkways.
According to Harris County deputies, a man pulled up alongside the car of his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, pulled out a gun and fired.
The ex-girlfriend was hit in the face, but her new boyfriend was not injured, deputies said. The new boyfriend kept driving to nearby Methodist Willowbrook Hospital.
The ex-girlfriend was transferred to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where she was listed in serious condition, deputies said.
Deputies said they are still looking for the ex-boyfriend.
