MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas – A man has been accused of killing a man whose body was found on the side of a road in Montgomery County, investigators said.
A passer-by spotted Russell Bointnott, 51, dead on Magnolia Bend near Redbud Road around 9:15 a.m. and called 911.

When Montgomery County sheriff's deputies arrived, they determined Bointnott had been shot in the head.
According to deputies, Conroe police had been investigating claims from a woman who said her husband might have killed Bointnott, who was her ex-boyfriend.
While interviewing the woman's husband, Perry Taylor, 49, deputies noticed evidence inside a pickup truck. As the deputies were investigating that evidence, they got the call about Bointnott's body being found.
Investigators took Perry into custody. He has been charged with murder.
