Deputies find 86 grams of meth while searching for felons

Deputies search a woman’s house for felons, but instead find 86 grams of meth, according to Precinct 4 deputies.

Deputies went to Melissa Strahan’s house on 20900 block of Shakey Hollow in Conroe to question her about where two wanted felons were on Oct. 4, deputies said.

According to deputies, Strahan said the two felons had just left her house, but they deputies could come in and search her house if they wanted to.

As deputies were searching her house, they found 86 grams of methamphetamine on the kitchen counter, a shotgun and a large glass bong containing a water and methamphetamine mixture, according to authorities.

Strahan then told deputies the two wanted felons, Edward King and Angela Pogue, were hiding next door in a mobile home, deputies said.

According to officials, Strahan faces a 1st degree felony charge of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance, as well as a 3rd degree felony charge of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Officials said both King and Pogue were also arrested for outstanding felony warrants.
