Deputies: Bank robbery was family affair

Father, son, daughter charged

KATY, Texas – Deputies said a father, son and daughter team dressed up in orange construction vests and robbed a Katy-area bank.

FBI officials said Ronald Catt, 50, and his two children, Hayden, 20 and Abigail, 18, held up the First Community Credit Union in the 23100 block of Cinco Ranch Boulevard about 1:45 p.m. on Oct. 1.

The father and son intimidated employees and customers with guns and got into restricted areas of the bank, where they filled a bag with cash, detectives said. During the heist, investigators said the pair wore orange traffic vests and dark sunglasses. Hayden also wore a fake mustache, and Ronald wore a painter's mask.

Investigators said Abigail drove the getaway car.

Ronald and Hayden were arrested Friday at an apartment in the 300 block of Dominion in the Katy area. Abigail was arrested later that same day.
