HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Deputies arrested a man accused of stealing various items from a Home Depot in north Harris County.

Kenyon Gemar, 18, is charged with misdemeanor theft.

Harris County Constable Precinct 4 deputies responded to the Home Depot near North Freeway and West Road on Feb. 6. The investigation revealed that a man entered the store, placed various items in his pockets and walked out.

Deputies said they then observed a vehicle matching the description provided in the case. They made a traffic stop and noticed the passenger in the vehicle matched the suspect's description.

After the vehicle stopped, deputies said the passenger, Kenyon Gemar, got out of the vehicle and began to run away.

Deputies gave chase and used a Taser to stop him.

Gemar was taken to the Harris County jail. He is currently out on bond.
