One person is dead and another is in the hospital after a shooting outside of a South Central Houston club, police said.
Police say there was a large group of people outside of the Turning Pint Club on Old Spanish Trail and Allegheny around 2 a.m. Saturday when a fight broke out.
Officials said one of the men pulled a gun and started shooting.
Police said a man, later identified as 49-year-old Geraldo Carlyle, was shot and died at the scene.
Another person was injured and later released from an area hospital.
Investigators have described the suspects as two black men.
Police do not believe Carlyle was the intended target and are working to determine the motive in the shooting.
