Woman dies after vehicle collides with truck trailer on FM 359 near Fulshear

FULSHEAR, Texas – A crash Tuesday morning killed a woman and closed F.M. Road 359 near Fulshear in Fort Bend County.

The two-vehicle crash was reported just before 8 a.m. at Rogers Road.

A spokesman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said a Dodge Ram was pulling a trailer with heavy equipment  when the trailer collided with a Hyundai. Officials said both vehicles ended up in a ditch.

 Officials said the driver of the Hyundai, a 56-year-old woman, was killed. The driver of the truck was not injured and was not taken to a hospital, officials said.

Officials confirmed that F.M. Road 359 was reopened around Tuesday afternoon.

The identities of both drivers were not released.
