Police issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for 48-year-old Camil Matase, who is is charged with capital murder in the shooting deaths of his wife, Emilia and son, Emanuel.
Family members found the bodies of 47-year-old Emilia and 26-year-old Emanuel Matase on November 14, after going to check up on the mother and son at their Cypress home. They found Emilia in the master bedroom and Emanuel's body in a second floor study.
Camil Matase is accused of shooting the two. He fled to Romania immediately after their murders.
The FBI was working with the Romanian Government to arrange Matase's return to the United States.
It was still unclear why the mother and son were killed.
