Cypress home burglary caught on camera

HOUSTON – Investigators are searching for two men who burglarized a Cypress home.

Harris County sheriff's deputies said a home in the 12000 block of Cypress Lakes Drive was targeted on July 3.

The homeowner told deputies that the thieves got into the home through a side window and that two men were seen running from the back yard.

A surveillance camera captured images of one of the thieves in a bedroom, investigators said.

Credit cards, jewelry and other items were taken from the home, detectives said.

One of the thieves was described as Hispanic, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and 190 to 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes and white gloves.

The second thief was described as black, 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 to 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a multicolored shirt and blue jeans.
