HOUSTON - Police said several crooks are still on the run after robbing a Family Dollar store in north Houston.

Officers responded to reports of a burglary around 5 a.m. Saturday at the store in the 1000 block of Cavalcade Street.  When they arrived, officers said they found the back door open, but the suspects had already taken off.

According to HPD, the crooks pried open the back door, went inside the store, and took thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes.

Police said they are hoping surveillance video will help them track down the suspects.
