Police seek Houston burglars spotted on surveillance camera

Reward of up to $5,000 offered

HOUSTON – Police are looking for three men who broke into a Houston house and stole several valuables, then took off running, officers said.

The burglars were caught on home video surveillance cameras in the Aug. 25 break-in.

The Houston Police Department’s burglary and theft division, along with Crime Stoppers, is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

The burglary took place about 11:30 a.m. at a home in the 2300 block of Blue Bonnet Boulevard. The men forced open a set of glass doors in the back of the home, went inside and stole several valuable items, police said.

It’s not clear where they ran after the home invasion.

One burglar is described as being a 25- to 28-year-old man, who wore a light beige hat, a bright yellow and green construction vest, and tan pants.

A second man sought by police wore a black hat, a gray and black jacket, and black pants.

A third burglar wore a black shirt and black pants.
