Photos released of wanted woman who robbed bank inside Walmart

KINGWOOD – Local and federal authorities are searching for a woman who they say robbed a bank inside a Walmart in Kingwood.

It happened around 9:20 a.m. Monday at the Woodforest Bank inside the Walmart on Northpark.

The FBI said the older woman, believed to be between 45-50 years old, walked into the bank, threatened the teller and demanded money.

Officials said the woman handed the teller a blue bag. After receiving cash, the woman walked out of the store.

Police said it is unclear how much cash the woman got away with.

Officials described the suspect as a white woman. 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 pounds with dirty blonde hair. She was last seen wearing jeans, a red coat, white tennis shoes and black gloves.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this suspect.
