HOUSTON – A homeowner scared away would-be burglars who invaded his southwest Houston home on Thursday.
The incident, according to homeowner Michael Thomas, occurred around 10:25 a.m. Thursday on Twin Twist Court and Eight Willows Road.
Thomas, who spoke with Local 2, said two men busted through his back door. He said his burglar alarm system may have helped scare away the crooks who got away with nothing.
There was another home invasion that was also reported five minutes later and six miles away. At this time, HPD said they do not believe these home invasions are related.
