Robert Chrimson, 51, has been added to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender's list.

AUSTIN, Texas – A Texas man has been added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list by the The Texas Department of Public Safety.

Robert Chrimson, 51, is wanted on a parole violation and for failing to comply with sex offender registration.

Chrimson was sentenced to 55 years in prison in 1981 for a kidnapping and aggravated rape of a San Antonio teen, according to authorities. Officials say Chrimson was incarcerated for another 10 years for an attempted stabbing of a Corpus Christi police officer during an arrest.

Authorities say Chrimson has ties to San Antonio and has done work as a general laborer. Past offenses include aggravated rape, aggravated assault and kidnapping and escape.

Chrimson is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. Authorities say he has a scorpion tattoo on his upper right arm, a cut scar on his chest and additional cut scars on both of his wrists.

A cash reward of $3,000 is being offered for any information that leads to Chrimson's arrest.
