A 15-year-old girl inside the house called 911 and waited in a locked bedroom upstairs until officers arrived.

When Harris County sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene they found Damion Jones, 35, near the getaway car.

Ronald Whitney, 40, ran back inside the house but was caught by deputies when he tried to run through the back door of the house.

Stolen electronics were found inside the men's vehicle, according to investigators

Jones is charged with burglary of a habitation. He also faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance after authorities found him with Xanax. Both charges carry a combined bond of $25,000.

Whitney, 40, is charged with burglary of a habitation. He is being held on $20,000 bond.

"The quick thinking on the part of our complainant to lock herself in a secure area and dial 911, and the rapid response from deputies, made these arrests possible," Assistant Chief Mark Herman said.
