Crews work to repair damage caused by road buckling on Highway 99 feeder

HOUSTON – Construction crews worked for hours to repair damage to the Highway 99 feeder road Thursday morning.

According to the Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority, the damage was caused by road buckling near Farm to Market Road 1464.

As of Thursday morning, the right hand lane and the northbound lanes had been fixed.

However, the left lane and u-turn lane in the southbound lanes were still closed for repairs.

So far, it's not clear when that section of road will reopen.
