HOUSTON – West Alabama Street reopened Tuesday morning after strong winds knocked a tree into the road, where it blocked all lanes of traffic.
Crews arrived on the scene early Tuesday morning to remove the tree after Monday's storms.
Workers cut up the trunk and branches before moving the tree out of the street.
