HOUSTON -

A married couple is accused of injuring a Walmart employee while trying to flee the store parking lot with a stolen television, Kemah police said. 

Michael Hocutt, 44, and Ashlie Hocutt, 29, were arrested Saturday at the Walmart on 255 FM 518 in Kemah.

According to police, the couple exited the store without paying for a 50-inch television and got into their vehicle.  When confronted by a loss prevention employee, police say, they drove their getaway vehicle into a shopping cart, which in turn, pushed the female employee into a concrete light pole.  She suffered minor injuries.

After fleeing the Walmart parking lot, the couple ditched their vehicle nearby and took off running into a wooded area.  They were caught and arrested shortly after.

According to court records, the couple had out been out on bond before Saturday's incident.  Michael Hocutt was awaiting a hearing on a charge of making a terroristic threat.  His wife Ashlie Hocutt was free on bond for a 2012 charge of credit card fraud.

In connection with Saturday's incident, Michael Hocutt is charged with robbery, criminal trespassing, evading arrest and driving with a suspended license. 

Ashlie Hocutt is facing charges of theft, evading arrest and criminal trespassing.  

Both are being held at the Galveston County Jail.
