HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -

Investigators are looking for three men who robbed a bank in northwest Harris County Saturday afternoon and got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office was called to the Chase Bank in the 7700 block of Highway 6 at 12:37 p.m.

Investigators said three men armed with pistols went into the bank and ordered customers and employees to the ground.

“Two males jumped across the counter where the tellers work," said Sgt. Gordon Trott, with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. "One male went to the back of the bank. They had the tellers lay on the floor and had one teller open the cash drawer.”

Trott said after the robbery the suspects took off in a red Ford truck that was found a short time later on Cherry Park Drive. Witnesses at the strip center told investigators the suspects were seen leaving in a dark-colored SUV, possibly a Dodge Durango.

One man, who didn't want to be identified, said he was working nearby when he saw the men pull into the strip center and leave the truck behind, still running.

“It was too fast," said the witness. "They were jumping, one guy was jumping around.”

The suspects were last seen heading toward FM 529.

No customers or employees were injured during the robbery.
