KINGWOOD, Texas – A mother in Kingwood has been arrested for driving drunk with her children in the car for the second time in less than three weeks.
Authorities said they stopped Shauna Richardson, 35, Wednesday afternoon after a driver called police and said Richardson was driving on the curb on Northpark.
Responding officers said they found Richardson's two-year-old and four-year-old in the back seat.
Authorities said Richardson was last arrested in September after she passed out in a restaurant drive-through in Kingwood as she tried to pay her bill. Police said one of her children was with her in the vehicle and her car was running.
Richardson was sent back to jail with no bond and will appear before a judge Friday morning, authorities said.
Police said her children are with another family member.
Court records show Richardson has two DWI convictions in Austin and Montgomery counties.
No one answered the door at her home in Kingwood Thursday night.
