HOUSTON – Construction crews discovered a man's body in a drainage ditch near Highway 290.
According to reports, they found the body near Barker Cypress Road shortly after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Detectives said the victim's death may have been accidental, and that it appeared he had been walking along a steep area of the drainage ditch and fell in.
The victim's body was transported to the medical examiner's office for further examination.
As of Saturday morning, his identity had not been released.
