HOUSTON -

A west Houston McDonald's restaurant has been repeatedly targeted by criminals.

A respected black businessman who owns the restaurant has done a lot for charity in the area.

But so far, members of the New Black Panther Party say all this businessman has gotten in return is pain.

After a string of five armed robberies and one bloody shooting where an honor roll student was shot in the chest, activist Quannel X is sending out a strong warning to the criminals who may try to rob the location again.

"We will mobilize our men of our community and we will hunt you down ourselves," he said. "We will do more than just turn you over to the police. We will treat you like the vipers that you are. Leave this business alone. This man is loved by the pillars of our community. Are you going to kill somebody next?"

The most violent attack that took place at the restaurant happened in May. A young Hispanic fry cook was shot in the chest.
