Code Maroon issued for Friday at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - A Code Maroon has been issued at Texas A&M University because of a bomb threat for Friday.

University police said the threat was found in a bathroom of a campus facility. They did not give specifics, but said the threat was campus-wide.

Officials said the credibility of the threat was "questionable."

The campus will remain open and classes and activities will go on as scheduled. There will be heightened security measures as a precaution.

University police are working with state, local and federal law enforcement agencies to investigate the threat.
