HOUSTON – A woman said she had her purse snatched in southwest Houston, and her attackers were children.
Sylvia Wright doesn't have a car, so she walks most places. She doesn't stray far from the neighborhood where she's lived for the past seven years.

Wright said she was walking home from a shopping trip near Bissonnet and Dairy Ashford about 7 p.m. Monday and was almost home when she was attacked.
"I was surprised," Wright said. "They came from the back. They saw me and saw the opportunity – nobody in the street – and they take the opportunity."
Wright estimated the purse snatcher was no older than 15. She said his partner, who was on a bicycle and acting as a lookout, was only about 8 years old.
Wright said the children didn't get away with much. She only had about $7 in cash and a debit card, which she promptly canceled.
She said she's reconsidering how she gets around.
"I think I need to learn how to drive," Wright said.
