HOUSTON – Houston Police have arrested, and charged two in connection with a beating and strangulation that left a southwest Houston man dead.
Police say family members found Francisco Garcia, 74, dead in his home Saturday, Jan 17.

Family members told investigators they became worried when Garcia had not shown up for work. When family arrived at Garcia's apartment they found the back patio door unlocked and Garcia dead on the floor. A recently purchased pickup truck was missing from the parking lot. A police investigation led them to identify the suspects as Michael Gonzalez, 18, and Angel A. Mendoza, 21. Both have been charged with capital murder.
Police say Garcia had been killed during a robbery.
