HOUSTON – It wasn't just Texans fans who packed into Lucky's Pub downtown on Sunday to watch the game against Kansas City. University of Houston fans were also there to support Case Keenum in his first NFL start.
"So far, so good," said Colin Nussbaum. "I'm from U of H also so I'm definitely rooting for him."
Fans say Keenum is giving the Texans' offense the boost they need while reenergizing fans who have started to lose hope in the team that is 2-4 so far this season.
"I think this is good. It's good for the team," said Chris Carrier. "He's got the team pumped up and he's moving the ball down the field."
