Cars, homes spray-painted in Pasadena

Neighborhood falls victim to vandals

PASADENA, Texas – Police in Pasadena are looking for the vandals they say used spray paint to vandalize a neighborhood.

Several residents called police Thursday morning, saying their cars and homes had been spray painted.

The vandals spray painted a Dodge Caravan parked on the 2500 block of Florence with gold paint. Then they painted another car on the 2500 block of Leslie with the number 23 on it.

On the 2600 block of Ester, police say they painted multiple lines and shapes in red, silver and blue paint on a Ford F-150.

The owner of a Chevy Silverado found his truck parked at his home on the 1500 block of Wichita painted in both gold and red. On the 1700 block of Wichita, a gold Buick LeSabre had the words "H-Town" and "Houston" written on it.

On the 1500 block of Leneva, a tan Dodge Sportsman had "for sale" painted on.

A homeowner on the 1800 block of Zapp lane said he parked his cars inside the garage so they weren't painted on but his garage doors were.

"It's sad this doesn't look like any type of gang stuff just bored kids and that's what I found sad," said Granville Brannen.
