HOUSTON -

A school bus was involved in a wreck Friday afternoon in southwest Houston.

Police say a car hit the school bus in the intersection of Willowbend and Fondren. Several students from Westside High School were on the bus when the crash happened.

"He drove up on the curb or whatever and was swerving so our bus driver pulled over and that's when he hit us from behind and it was a nice hit. I mean it was unexpected. I didn't think anything like that would happen to us," student Adrian Childs told Local 2.

No students were hurt.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital. No word on the driver's condition.
