HOUSTON – Car fires in southeast Houston caused some big delays for Monday morning commuters.
Officials shut down the exit ramp of Beltway 8 Eastbound at the Gulf Freeway. Around 6:15 a.m., crews cleared the scene and reopened the ramp.
Investigators said two cars were fully involved in flames when fire crews arrived.
