HOUSTON – A car burglar is on the loose after a chase through Bellaire.
Bellaire police were called out around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to the home on Braeburn and Avenue B.

When the first unit arrived, authorities said a man ran into a backyard.
Houston police and a K-9 unit were called in to help with the search, but they couldn't find the burglar.
The search was called off after about an hour and a half.
