HOUSTON – With the start of the Houston Rodeo around the corner, many of Houston's cab and limo drivers are speaking out over two ride-sharing apps operating in our area.
A meeting was held Tuesday at City Hall where cab and limo drivers from all over the city voiced their concerns about the two apps -- Uber and Lyft. Current regulations don't allow these new services to operate, so they're offering free rides for the time being. And that has some people concerned.

Both Lyft and Uber have talked with the city about making changes to its current regulations.
The city says it is willing to work with these new companies, but says the services for now are still illegal.
