Five puppies are being treated for burns after they were found abandoned in a plastic crate at TC Jester Park.

The group, Scouts Honor Rescue, says the dogs were found Monday in the heat with no food or shelter from the heat. The group says they aren't sure what type of burns they are, but do say the burns were deliberate.

The rescue is raising money for the pups medical bills and is placing the dogs in individual foster homes when they are well enough.
