LEAGUE CITY, Texas – A League City man is accused of breaking into several apartments, and flooding one of them.
Rickie Patterson, 23, is charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation, one count of criminal mischief and one count of felony evading arrest.

League City police were called out to an apartment complex in the 300 block of Hobbs on May 12 to investigate a burglary call. Water was flooding out from the door of one apartment.
According to investigators, a maintenance worker spotted Patterson at the scene. He fled in a blue Dodge Ram.
After a short chase, police officers and deputies with the Galveston County Sheriff's Office were able to catch him.
Inside Patterson's vehicle, investigators say they found stolen property which linked him to at least three League City burglaries.
Police say the sink drains were intentionally blocked with towels and the faucets had been left running inside the flooded apartment. There were several inches of water inside the apartment. Food and other items had been scattered throughout the place.
At the time of the burglary, the resident who lived at the apartment was out of town. Police say the resident has no affiliation with Patterson.
