Burglars steal snacks, equipment from Baytown little league team

Police say hundreds of dollars worth of snacks, equipment stolen

BAYTOWN, Texas – Police said a Baytown Little League team was robbed by a couple of burglars who stole hundreds of dollars worth of snacks and equipment.

Authorities said the thieves broke into the concession stand at the Central Little League park on Garth Road sometime Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.

Local 2 spoke with Jody Vaughn, vice president of Baytown Little League, who said this wasn't the first time they've been burglarized.

"They came in through the window and apparently pried it open with some kind of pry bar," said Vaughn. "They got in, shattered the glass and took just about everything that we had."

Police said they have not yet arrested anyone in connection to this crime.
